So just what is a wiki?

A Wiki is type of web application which allows anyone, with permission, to add, and modify information on the wiki website with out having to go though a developer or IT resouce. This is done by using a simplified language and graphical editors to make the process of writing the HTML easier. Documentation on how to do this is provided in the Twiki link provided below. The wiki system records when a change is made, who made it and what was changed. This allows for change control and management of the the information and revision history of previously made changes.

The Morningstar IT department has been using this system for its own internal documentation for years and will continue to release information with the system. Until now the system has been largly internal to the department but we are finding there is a growing need to get some information out in the hands of you the end user to make your job smoother.

Some section of the wiki are only available if you have permission to view and or edit the information. If you do not see the wiki you are looking for please logon using the Account link in the right column of this screen. Log on to this system using your LDAP username and password.
